Vienna Film-Festival

It's mid August which in viennese terms means that the temperature is around 35 to 38 degrees. This temperature creates a Caribbean like feeling and most people adapt to this weather like vampires. It appears that most people spend the most of the morning and afternoon in doors, only when the temperature drops by 5 degrees at about 6pm more people are to be seen on the streets. A great thing to do on one of those evenings here in Vienna is to go an pay the Vienna Film-Festival a visit. It's right in front of the Vienna City Hall, which creates a beautiful scenery. One of the best aspects is that it is a free festival, another aspect is that whilst it is a festival centralised around the idea and showing of films, there is also a great variety of food stands from restaurants across vienna. For the small price of 10 Euros you'll be able to have a delicious snack, drink and film! So my advice is, don't miss it this summer!
